Colour

The absence of colour is the first indication of a true gem. A chemically pure and structurally perfect diamond has no hue and is crystal clear without a hint of colour. A diamond’s colourlessness is determined by comparing it to a master stone with an established colour value according to GIA’s diamond colour-grading system. The comparison takes place under strict and precise viewing conditions and controlled lighting.
